Be ready

Romans 10:11 Amplified Bible (AMP)

11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.

When we are out there doing God's work God allows things to happen and we may not even see it at first. Because we are so used to walking in our faith. That we forget people are watching. We forget that people are affected by our lives. Your Christian marriage has an affect on unsaved people looking for what you have. Your successful job in a struggling society is under a microscope. Your blessings are carefully being noticed. Your healing is being coveted by those in poor health. Why is this so important for us to understand? Because we are supposed to be ready in season and out. You never know what may move people so much that they will come to you for help. They may come to you for marriage counseling. My husband and I have had this happen quite a few times. They may come to you for business advice. They may just simply ask you why it is that you are so full of peace and joy. The word says that we should always be ready to give and answer to them. (1 Peter 3:15)
They may come to you for healing prayer. You must put your faith into action for whatever they come to you for. God is using you to help them. Don't shrink back in fear. Rise to the occasion and allow God to show them his glory. The Lord will Honor you.

And the natives showed us unusual kindness; for they kindled a fire and made us all welcome, because of the rain that was falling and because of the cold. But when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, a viper came out because of the heat, and fastened on his hand. So when the natives saw the creature hanging from his hand, they said to one another, “No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he has escaped the sea, yet justice does not allow to live.” But he shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm. However, they were expecting that he would swell up or suddenly fall down dead. But after they had looked for a long time and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and said that he was a god.
In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days. And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him.So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed.10 They also honored us in many ways; and when we departed, they provided such things as were necessary.

Let us Pray: Now, Lord God,  grant to your servants to continue to speak your word with all boldness.  When any opportunity may arise, Help us to have the words to say. Equip us ahead of time. while you stretch out your hand to heal, with signs and wonders performed through the name of your son Jesus may many get to know you father personally and have great testimonies. Use us Lord that we may further your kingdom in Jesus name to your glory forever and ever Amen and Amen!
