The Magi (/ˈmæ/;) Greek: μάγοι, magoi), also referred to as the (ThreeWise Men, (ThreeKings, (ThreeAstrologers, or Kings from the East, were a group of distinguished foreigners who were said to have visitedJesus after his birth, bearing gifts of goldfrankincense and myrrh. They are regular figures in traditional accounts of the nativity celebrations of Christmas and are an important part of the Christian tradition.
The Gospel of Matthew,  the only one of the four Canonical gospels to mention the Magi, states that they came "from the east" to worship the Christ, "born King of the Jews." Although the account does not tell how many they were, the three gifts led to a widespread assumption that they were three as well. In the East, the magi traditionally number twelve. Their identi
The Three Kings

The message I get from the histoiric recolection of the Three Kings is one of great humility, awe, wonder, and great reverence. These men were great men who were so revered for their wisdom that they have been known throughout the ages as Kings, Men placed in authoritative status. But they did not consider it humiliating, disgraceful, or striping them of their reputations to come across country to a shelter for animals and bow down and worship, honor, and pay homage to a baby just born wrapped in swaddling cloth, nursing at his mothers bosom. No They considered it the greatest honor known to man. Picture the pourest home here in PR you could imagine, Now picture the poorest chicken coop or animal shelter you have ever seen here on the Island. Probably something made of zing, With some chicken wire, and a dirt floor. Now imagine a young couple giving birth to their firstborn child there. Now imagine that the Govenor of PR, the President of the US, and the Queen of england came to honor that baby by bringing him gifts of Gold, a crital flask of anointed oil, and documents of a very expensive burial plot. Gold to show that these wise men, these kings revere this baby as the king of kings and the lord of lords. Anionted oil to show that they revere this baby as the high priest. A burial plot to show that they fully understand the sacrifice that this baby is about to give for all man kind. These men are an example to us all on how we should respond in the presence of such utter greatness that there is simply none greater then our Lord Jesus. They who were great to men, humbled themselves before a greater God in the form of a babe born in the humblest of means. When you come to church, when you kneel down to pray, when you give thanks for your many blessings do you realize that you are envoking the presence of greatness. Greatness that has never been before and will never be after him. He is great yesterday, today, and forever. As cristians we are able to come before the throne and be in his presence any time we want to. Hebrews 4:10-16 but we must be mindful of who's presence we are entering and give the proper responce. How do you respond to God? I hope we all will come before God in Humble adoration, confession, thanksgiving and praise, and last but not least suplication because if we don't ask the bible says we won't have. I pray we will get right with those whom we might be in quarrels with before even considering coming before God and I hope we will ask God to fix our own charectors before asking God to fix others. I pray we never take what God has done for us lightly and always look to the example these Kings gave us on How to truely worship Our king of Kings and Lord Of lords Amen! Because Jesus may be many things to us, shepherd, The truth, The way, Redeemer, Friend, Lover of our souls, But More then any other word to describe him he is our, high priest, our savior, and most of all our king. He alone should rule in your life and he alone deserves all glory and honor forever. Amen! Let us all make a decision to put God first in every area of our lives This year, and come before him with the right heart and attitude deserving of our king Amen! Let us pray and ask God for forgiveness for not having the proper respect for God in the past and make our confessions to him. Let's make this a new begining. A new day, a new year of righteousness with God. Let us pray! Amen!
